Designing for the object

Record covers operate as both containers and graphic objects. The display strategy keeps the artwork visually dominant while making space for interpretation and different ways of viewing the sleeve.

A restrained industrial palette gives the system a consistent identity without competing with the colour, typography and imagery of each cover.

A flexible system

The freestanding totem combines interpretive text with a suspended acrylic case, allowing both sides of a cover to remain visible. Its proportions and concrete base establish stability while preserving an open view through the gallery.

The wall-mounted acrylic cases adjust to accommodate a single cover, an open gatefold sleeve, or a record shown beside its cover.
